Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Jewelry CAD Designer with over 5 years of experience in creating production-ready CAD models. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in fine jewelry design and be capable of transforming creative concepts into precise 3D CAD files.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate and detailed CAD models aligned with design and production requirements.
- Convert hand sketches, concepts, and ideas into 3D CAD files using software such as Rhino, Matrix, or similar.
- Ensure technical accuracy for manufacturing, including stone settings, metal thickness, and tolerances.
- Collaborate with design, sampling, and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Revise and update CAD models based on feedback from production and QC teams.
- Maintain organized records of CAD files and related documentation.
- Identify and resolve design or production challenges proactively.
- Keep up to date with jewelry design trends and CAD technology advancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fine jewelry CAD design.
- Proficient in Rhino, Matrix, ZBrush, or equivalent CAD software.
- Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes (casting, stone setting, finishing).
- Ability to interpret design briefs and produce precise technical CADs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, CAD Design, or related field preferred.
