We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Computer Data Entry Operator to manage, update, and maintain our digital databases.You will be responsible for accurately transcribing high volumes of alphanumeric information from paper and electronic source documents into our systems. The ideal candidate possesses excellent typing skills, a sharp eye for detail, and strong organizational capabilities to ensure all data remains clean, accurate, and accessible.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Input: Insert customer, account, or company data from source documents into computer databases, spreadsheets, or proprietary software.
- Verification: Cross-check newly entered data against original source documents to identify and correct errors, deficiencies, or discrepancies.
- Maintenance: Update, modify, or delete existing records to keep databases current and organized.
- Scanning & Filing: Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of source documents before data entry, scan physical paperwork into digital records.
- Troubleshooting: Report any system errors, recurring data discrepancies, or missing information to the direct supervisor.
- Confidentiality: Comply with data integrity, security policies, and privacy protocols to protect sensitive corporate and customer information.
- Reporting: Generate periodic reports, export spreadsheets, and retrieve files for team members upon request.
