Job Summary
The Hospital Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and high standards of patient care. The role involves managing administrative functions, coordinating with clinical and non-clinical departments, implementing policies, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the hospital's day-to-day administrative and operational activities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor hospital policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with medical, nursing, finance, HR, pharmacy, laboratory, and support departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets and monitor financial performance.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports for senior management.
- Lead initiatives to improve patient experience, service quality, and operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor contracts, facility maintenance, housekeeping, security, and other support services.
- Oversee staffing requirements in collaboration with the HR department.
- Address patient concerns and resolve escalated complaints promptly.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure effective risk management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning.
- Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives within hospital operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Healthcare Management, MBA (Hospital Management), or a related discipline is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in healthcare quality or hospital administration are an advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in hospital administration or healthcare operations.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a hospital environment.
- Knowledge of NABH/JCI standards and healthcare compliance is preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
