Role Overview: As the D2C Accounts Executive, you will take ownership of our daily accounting, stock reconciliation, and profitability tracking. You will work closely with our operations team to ensure smooth financial workflows, accurate inventory valuation, and zero revenue leakage from our online sales channels.
Key Responsibilities: * Daily Accounting & Compliance: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, vendor payments, and ensure accurate GST filing and compliance tailored for e-commerce.
- P&L & Metrics Tracking: Monitor and analyze Profit & Loss statements, tracking crucial D2C metrics such as Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and shipping/RTO costs.
- Payment & Marketplace Reconciliation: Reconcile settlements from payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, etc.), shipping aggregators (e.g., Shiprocket), and marketplaces to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Inventory Control: Oversee daily stock reconciliation, track inventory movement across multiple warehouses, and conduct accurate valuation to prevent stock-outs or dead stock.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports to provide management with actionable insights into financial health and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills: * Experience: Minimum [e.g., 2-4] years of accounting experience, specifically within an E-commerce, D2C, or retail business.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally Prime, Zoho Books) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- E-commerce Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital payment reconciliations, shipping aggregator billing, and inventory management systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com), Finance, or related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to Commute/Relocate: * Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience: * Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
- E-commerce/D2C operations: 1 year (Required)
