Fire Alarm Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain fire alarm systems.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm control panels, detectors, sounders, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot wiring and electrical faults.
- Ensure all work complies with local fire safety codes and regulations.
- Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with supervisors and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- 0-7 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with fire safety standards and regulations.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with brands such as Honeywell, Notifier, Siemens, GST, Edwards, Apollo, or Bosch.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
