Medical Representative (MR)
Job Summary
The Medical Representative is responsible for promoting the hospital's healthcare services to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals. The role focuses on building strong professional relationships, increasing patient referrals, and achieving business growth through effective field marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit doctors, clinics, hospitals, and healthcare professionals to promote hospital services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and healthcare providers.
- Generate patient referrals through regular field visits and follow-ups.
- Conduct product and service presentations to healthcare professionals.
- Plan and execute daily field activities to achieve monthly targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and referral sources.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth patient referrals and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of doctor visits, referrals, and daily activity reports.
- Participate in health camps, awareness programs, and promotional events organized by the hospital.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
- Ensure timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Marketing, or any graduate.
- Freshers with good communication skills are welcome.
- Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or hospital marketing are preferred.
Required Skills

- Good presentation and convincing skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in pharmaceutical sales, hospital marketing, or healthcare industry.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license is preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of doctor/clinic visits per day.
- Patient referrals generated.
- New doctor/clinic tie-ups established.
- Achievement of monthly referral and business targets.
- Timely submission of activity reports.
- Customer relationship and retention.
Working Conditions

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
