About the Role
You will own non-destructive testing of copper tube — running and interpreting eddy current, ultrasonic and other NDT methods to ensure every tube meets integrity requirements before it ships. As a certified Level II, you'll set up tests, judge results, calibrate standards and sign off on conformity. A specialised, respected quality role for an NDT professional with real pipe/tube experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret NDT — eddy current, ultrasonic and other methods as applicable to tube.
- Set up, calibrate and validate NDT equipment against reference standards.
- Judge acceptance/rejection per applicable ASTM/EN and customer specifications.
- Prepare and control NDT procedures, test plans and reports.
- Segregate and document non-conforming tube; support RCA on integrity defects.
- Guide Level I / operators on NDT test execution.
- Maintain NDT records, calibration and traceability.
- Ensure safety in NDT operations (including any radiographic controls if applicable).

Educational Qualification
B.E. Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with valid NDT Level II certification (e.g. ECT/UT) per ASNT/ISO 9712 as applicable.
Experience
2–3 years in NDT — experience in the pipe / tube industry is mandatory.
