Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Joinery Detailer to prepare accurate cutting lists, shop drawings, and material take-offs for custom joinery and interior projects. The candidate must have strong technical understanding of joinery construction and factory production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cutting lists for all joinery and furniture items
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
- Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and hardware lists
- Optimize sheet layouts to minimize material wastage
- Coordinate with the production team for technical clarifications
- Revise drawings based on site measurements and project changes
- Ensure detailing aligns with joinery best practices and factory standards
- Work closely with designers, estimators, and project managers
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI Draftsman / B.Tech (preferred)
- 2–6 years experience in joinery detailing or related roles
- Strong knowledge of MDF, plywood, laminates, veneer, hardware, joinery profiles, and joinery construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Knowledge of SketchUp is an added advantage
- Good communication in English; Hindi spoken preferred
- Gulf experience is an added advantage
Salary Range
20,000 – 45,000 INR per month
