Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our construction projects. The role involves handling project accounting, vendor payments, GST compliance, and coordination with site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Maintain books of accounts as per accounting standards
- Record journal entries, vouchers, and ledger postings
- Handle bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Vendor & Client Management
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile vendor and supplier accounts
- Maintain accounts receivable and follow up on client payments
Taxation & Compliance (India)
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
- Handle TDS deductions and returns (194C, 194J, etc.)
- Assist in income tax, statutory, and internal audits
Skills & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles
- Experience in Construction Industry Accounting preferred
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, PF & ESI
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work with site teams and vendors
