Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and Treatment: Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose various eye conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform surgeries such as cataract extraction, LASIK, corneal transplantation, and retinal procedures.
Patient Management: Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing care and support.
Prescribing Medications and Devices: Prescribe medications, eyeglasses, contact lenses, or other visual aids to manage eye conditions and improve vision.
Patient Education: Educate patients about their eye conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to maintain eye health.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as optometrists, neurologists, and endocrinologists, to manage systemic conditions affecting eye health.
