We are looking for an experienced Shopify Expert / Website Developer to build, customize, and maintain high-performing Shopify eCommerce stores. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of Shopify development, website optimization, and eCommerce best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites.
- Build custom Shopify themes and sections using Liquid.
- Customize existing themes based on design requirements.
- Integrate third-party apps, APIs, payment gateways, and shipping solutions.
- Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and overall performance.
- Troubleshoot website bugs and resolve technical issues.
- Manage product uploads, collections, navigation, and store settings.
- Ensure responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Work closely with the marketing team to implement landing pages and promotional campaigns.
- Perform regular website maintenance, backups, and updates.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify Theme Customization and Shopify 2.0.
- Knowledge of Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party applications.
- Understanding of website speed optimization and technical SEO.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control.
- Good understanding of responsive web development.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Knowledge of React.js or Next.js is an advantage.
- Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking.
- Basic understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant Shopify certifications are a plus.
