Job Summary
Teron Metal Components is looking for a skilled CNC / VMC Programmer with experience in precision machining and process optimization. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing, optimizing, and proving CNC programs while ensuring high productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC/VMC programs for production and new component development.
- Program and operate machines equipped with Siemens and Fanuc controls.
- Perform machine setup, prove-out, and first-off inspection before production.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Select suitable cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Optimize cycle times while maintaining dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, and Quality teams during new product development.
- Prepare and maintain process sheets, tooling lists, and program documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and 5S standards.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with Jyoti CNC machining centres.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens and Fanuc CNC controls.
- Experience in VMC programming using CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, Powermill, NX CAM, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of machining steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminium, and copper alloys.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and machining strategies.
- Ability to independently handle new component development and process optimization.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in CNC/VMC programming and machining.
Pay: From ₹23,000.00 per month
