SALES HEAD (MEP CONTRACTING)

I. JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Head will be responsible for bringing new MEP projects to the company.
The main goal is to identify upcoming construction projects in Delhi-NCR, build strong
relationships with developers and consultants, and win tenders to grow the company’s
revenue.
II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Growth & Networking
- Project Sourcing: Identify new project opportunities (Malls, Hospitals, Residential,
Commercial, and Industrial) in Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon.
- Consultant Mapping: Inform the necessary team members onto this and active
relationships with top MEP Consultants and Architects to get our company invited for
bidding.
2. Tendering & Deal Closing
- Bidding Strategy: Work with the estimation team to prepare competitive "Techno-
Commercial" quotes and guide them based on the market.
- Negotiation: Lead meetings with clients to discuss rates and finalize the deal (closing
the sale).
- Contract Review: Check payment terms and work conditions before signing the
contract to ensure they are safe for the company after consultation with the
management team for stringent & irregular payment terms.
3. Team & Operations
- Target Achievement: Take full ownership of the annual sales target for the Delhi-
NCR region.
- Internal Handover: Once a project is won, explain the project scope clearly to the
execution team for a smooth start( part of the file transfer meetings).
III. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
based on the experience and market understanding as well.
- Experience: 8 to 12 years in Sales within the MEP/EPC industry.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Delhi-NCR construction market and
existing contacts with local consultants.
- Communication: Must be fluent in English and Hindi for professional presentations
and client meetings.
IV. KEY SKILLS
- Deal Closing: Strong ability to negotiate and convince clients.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to understand technical drawings (SLDs) and Bill
of Quantities (BOQ).
- Relationship Building: Skilled at making long-term connections with key decision-
makers.
- Professionalism: High level of ethics and a disciplined approach to work.
- Coordination: with sales coordination and team from the head office for preparation
of any particular sales and document for tenders, clients, etc.
V. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS (KPIs)
1. 2. 3. New Order Booking: The total value of contracts signed in a year.
Win Ratio: The percentage of successful project wins out of the total tenders
submitted.
Client Retention: Bringing in repeat business from existing clients.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
