Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive Junior HR Executive to join our plant's HR team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day HR administrative operations, with a heavy focus on factory floor attendance tracking, blue-collar worker recruitment, onboarding, and ensuring smooth coordination between factory workers, office staff, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Attendance & Shift Management: Monitor daily biometric attendance, late arrivals, and leave records for both factory workers (floor staff/tailors) and office staff (merchandising/design teams).
- Factory Floor Recruitment: Assist in sourcing, screening, and hiring line operators, checkers, packers, and junior office staff to ensure production lines are always fully staffed.
- Onboarding & Documentation: Complete joining formalities for new hires, including collecting KYC documents, creating physical employee files, and conducting basic factory safety orientations.
- Payroll Input Preparation: Compile accurate monthly data regarding working days, overtime (OT) hours, and leaves, and submit it to the senior HR/Finance team for payroll processing.
- Labor Compliance Support: Assist senior HR management in maintaining statutory registers and documentation related to local factory acts, ESIC, and PF records.
- Grievance & Floor Coordination: Act as an accessible point of contact on the factory floor to resolve basic worker queries regarding leaves, payouts, and site facilities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A diploma in Labor Laws or Personnel Management is a strong advantage.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of HR experience. Prior experience working in a manufacturing unit, garment factory, or export house is highly preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluent in the local language spoken by the factory workers, alongside functional English for email communication and documentation.
- Technical Skills: Good command over MS Excel (for managing roster sheets and attendance data).
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to confidently communicate with both shop-floor workers and corporate management.
