Job Summary:
The Chef (Indian, Chinese & Tandoori) is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes across multiple cuisines while maintaining food safety, hygiene, consistency, and timely service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Indian, Chinese, and Tandoori dishes as per standard recipes
- Ensure taste, quality, portion control, and presentation standards
- Manage tandoor operations including marination, grilling, and baking
- Plan daily kitchen prep and manage food inventory efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen as per FSSAI standards
- Monitor food wastage and control costs
- Coordinate with service staff for smooth order flow
- Train and guide kitchen helpers and commis staff
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked food
Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Indian, Chinese & Tandoori cuisines
- Minimum 3–6 years of relevant kitchen experience
- Strong knowledge of spices, sauces, marinades, and tandoor handling
- Ability to handle bulk cooking and à la carte orders
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs
- Physically fit and able to work long hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts (preferred, not mandatory)
- Experience in hotels, residency restaurants, or standalone restaurants
- Ability to design menus and suggest new dishes
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
