Purpose
To lead skill development Project in the Center
Essential Functions
– Oversees daily center operations and coordinates center activities through assigned staff; prioritizes and delegates work activities.
– Working within the Organization Policies (Risk Management and Compliance).
– Supervises the activities of subordinates by the following
Daily Team Meetings/Review on Plan & Achievements
Follow-Up on the Pending Tasks
Verifies the Daily Reports of the Staffs & Centers (Daily)
Reviewing the feedback of the Trainees (Monthly)
– Responsible for entire operations, involving achieving targets set forth Recruitment, training and Administration.
– Evaluates center activities for effectiveness to develop improved methods; devises evaluation methodology and implements; analyzes results and recommends and/or takes appropriate action.
– Reviews applications or other center documents to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to the center
– Responsible for Optimum Utilization of Resources.
– Responsible for staffs/students counseling and retention
Shortlists and do the initial screening of all the positions required for the Training Center and sends the feedback to HR/Program Head (Whenever the position is vacant)
Review the Training Monthly Reports & Performance (Monthly)
Review Mobilization Monthly Reports, Mobilization Expenditures & Performance (Monthly)
Review Placement Monthly Reports, Placement Expenditures & Performance (Monthly)
Reviews the Visitor & Donation Register (Monthly)
Review the Stock & Asset Register (Monthly)
– Training Center Manager manages all operational activities of the training center including setting up of the center, staffing, facilities, and coordination with vendors and suppliers
Identifies & Shortlist the Buildings as per the standard based on the Project & Organization needs and submit the report to Program Head whenever setting up a new center
Identifies the Vendor needed for the regular operational requirements
Prepare & submits the Monthly Training Center Expenses and also manages the expenses needed for the Training Center (Monthly)
– To ensure the quality of the facilities provided at the training center including Food & Accommodation facilities
– Prepares periodic reports, financial statements and records on center projects, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies
– Submit the reports based on the requirements and some of the basic & regular reports includes the following:
Daily Activity Report (Daily)
Weekly Training Center Report (Weekly)
Monthly Reports (CCM, Training, Mobilization, Placements)
Project Reports (As per the Project Timelines)
Batch Start/Closure Reports (As per the Project Timelines)
Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Annual Reports & Newsletter
– Represents center in public relations/liaison capacity on matters relating to the center’s research and projects
– Serves as a key liaison with center external publics and Serves as center representative during projects by responding to and resolving emergency situations and ensures all aspects of projects/events are implemented and controlled according to plans
– Books and schedules facility and services for center projects/events; negotiates and prepares rental contract determining fees and terms of contract; estimates costs and determines project/event budgets
Responsible for organizing capacity building workshops and ToTs for the field staff and trainers (Yearly)
Responsible for organizing events pertaining to the center such as Celebrations, Dignitaries Visits, Volunteers etc. (Regular)
Responsible for organizing Guest Lecturer & Exposure Visits (Quarterly)
Responsible for organizing Job Fair in co-ordination with Placement Officer (Half Yearly)
– Provides assistance and information to faculty, staff and outside organizations regarding center research and projects; maintains contact via telephone or written correspondence
– Confers with and advises staff, students and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and center goals and policy interpretations
– Prepares or assists in the preparation of proposals for funding of new or continuous projects.
Job Setting
Flexibility in extending office timing when required: Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions: requires travelling: requires work with Center Heads/Project Heads: requires prompt service
