About C iPD: The Centre f or I ntelligent Product Development (CiPD) has been established at
I IIT Delhi to innovate in t he s pace of intelligent product design and development and to
contribute towards turning India into a Product Nation .

A primary goal of the centre i s to bring t ogether e xpertise from many research and expertise silos
and foster innovation by c reating i ndigenized product platforms that can help the industry to
bring solutions to the market faster and at a significantly lower design cost and risk.

Position: Senior System Designer (Embedded Systems)

Number of Positions : 1

Responsibility :

Engaging freshers, interns, and students, and nurturing their growth in hardware design a nd

development

Lead and g uide m ultiple teams in the d evelopment o f Proofs of C oncept (PoCs), projects, a nd

products in the field of Embedded Systems.

E mbedded P roduct Development – L ead product development from Concept to

Production-Ready Prototype (entire PDLC)

Managing the h ardware p roduct development lifecycle (PDLC), i ncluding processes and

documentation

Requirements :

Minimum of 5 years of w ork experience in Embedded System Design and Product

D evelopment

D esign Experience in digital, analog, and Microcontroller.
Experience in interfaces and related protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB
E xperience in Wireless Connectivity such as LTE, WiFi, BLE, ZigBee, RFID.
E xperience in board bring-up, debugging, bootloader etc.
Knowledge of C/ C++ / Assembly language programming.
Prior experience of developing end-to-end solutions.

D esirable Requirements:

8 -10 years of relevant experience.
E xperience of architecture design, hardware-software p artitioning. Designing w ith D SPs/

F PGAs

Experience of working on EDA tools
Experience of Switched Power supply design
Exposure to Enclosure Design
Experience in Electro-mechanical Design considerations for Embedded Hardware Products
Experience of high-speed ADC & DAC based designs.
Experience of SI analysis & thermal analysis for a PCB
Experience in DFT, DFM.

Knowledge of Electronic Manufacturing Eco-system.
Worked closely with EMSes having SMT lines
Understanding of certifications & qualification standards.

Duration:

This assignment is for 11 months, extendable as necessary.

CTC of 6-12 lpa, depending on knowledge and relevant experience.

P osition: Associate System Designer (Embedded Systems)

Responsibility :

Engaging Freshers/ Interns/ Students in their Labs / Projects

Design, develop and test Subsystems of Embedded Products Development

Documentation as per the needs of product development lifecycle

Requirements :

BTech/ MTech degree or equivalent in Electronics/ Computer Science & allied fields

Minimum Experience: 2 years after graduation (MTech with 0 years)

Good knowledge of Microcontrollers and their interfaces

Knowledge of C / C++ Programming

Experience of doing one project in Embedded domain

Desirable Requirements :

Desirable: Knowledge of Schematic Capture / PCB Design

Curious and keen to learn and work in Embedded/hardware domain

Work seamlessly within diverse teams to drive collective success

D uration

This assignment is for 6 months, extendable in line with performance and project needs

Good candidates will be absorbed for a r egular project position based on t heir performance

d uring the training period, as per policy

B enefits

Monthly stipend of INR 30,000/- to 40,000/- , depending on relevant experience

Based on performance, the stipend will be reviewed after 6 months

Position: Associate Liaison Officer

Number of Positions : 1

Responsibility :

Engage with industry p artners, academic institutions, s tartups, and external organisations to

strengthen collaborations and ecosystem initiatives

Manage d ocumentation, reports, grant applications, approvals, and i nstitutional

c ommunications

Plan and execute workshops, events, panel discussions, and ecosystem engagement

activities

Create and publish social media content related to CiPD events including pre-event

announcements, real-time coverage, and post-event highlights

Support mentoring a nd engagement of students, interns, innovators, and early-stage s tartup

teams

Serve as the first point of contact for all e xternal stakeholders of CiPD, including industry

partners, academic institutions, investors, NGOs, and international organisations

Coordinate and manage MoUs, Letters of Intent (LoIs), c ollaboration a greements, and

formal partnership frameworks between CiPD and external entities

S upport business development activities, including partnerships, sponsored programs,

proposals, and stakeholder management

Eligibility :

Minimum Experience: 2 years after graduation (Masters with 0 years)
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders

Desirable Requirements :

Experience preparing formal proposals, reports, or structured written communication
Experience or interest in event planning and large-scale program coordination
Knowledge of Microsoft office suites

Duration:

T his assignment is f or 12 months, extendable based on performance and project

requirements
