Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated BMS Technician with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to join our engineering and facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS). You will help ensure that the building's mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems operate at peak efficiency, safety, and comfort levels.

Key Responsibilities

System Monitoring: Continuously monitor BMS graphics, alarms, and schedules to ensure building systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing, fire safety) are operating correctly.
Maintenance & Calibration: Perform routine preventive maintenance on BMS hardware, including DDC (Direct Digital Control) controllers, sensors, actuators, valves, and dampers.
Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic hardware faults, communication issues, or sensor errors under the guidance of senior engineers.
Data & Reporting: Respond to alarm notifications, accurately log incidents, and generate basic system runtime or energy reports.
On-Site Coordination: Work closely with the facilities, HVAC maintenance, and electrical teams to isolate systems during repairs and re-commission them afterward.
Documentation: Maintain clean records of maintenance checklists, calibration logs, and system modifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of practical experience working with BMS systems in commercial buildings, data centers, hospitals, or industrial facilities.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of HVAC systems (AHUs, Chillers, VAVs, FCUs).
Familiarity with standard BMS protocols (BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks) is a strong plus.
Exposure to major BMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Trend).
Tools & Equipment: Ability to use multi-meters, loop calibrators, and basic hand tools safely.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach to safety, and clear communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
