- Responsibilities - General Administration: Oversee nursing programs, ensuring efficient planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient-centered care. Maintain documentation and manage data, generating timely MIS reports. Roster management and anticipatory planning for varying occupancy levels. These activities are to be coordinated with ANS-1 and shift supervisors.
- Recruitment: Coordinate with NS to optimize resource utilization and facilitate interviews for new hires. Assign work, manage shifts, and handle performance appraisals and leave schedules.
- Patient Care: Ensure comprehensive care for each patient and evaluate the services rendered in various departments. Coordinate rounds with the Medical Director and review protocols.
- Quality and Compliance: Implement and review SOPs and protocols, ensuring compliance with institutional, hospital, and NABH standards. Conduct audits, manage incident reports, and participate in quality improvement activities. Prepare monthly reports and review the nursing care indicators or KPIs.
- Equipment and Supplies: Authorize orders for equipment and supplies, ensuring functionality and calibration.
- Teaching and Training Responsibilities: Identify training needs, develop curricula, and conduct training sessions. Evaluate staff competency and training effectiveness, maintaining records and inventories of training facilities.
- Patient Interaction: Promote proactive patient interaction and feedback systems, addressing patient needs and coordinating with medical consultants.
- Hospital Infection Control: Ensure and enforce hospital infection control standards.
- Ethical Practices: Ensure the highest standards of ethical medical practices within the hospital.
- Patient Safety: Actively participate in patient safety initiatives to enhance the safety culture within the department and patient care areas.
- Role Takeover: Support training and education activities in the department and helps ICN in planning for audit planning and execution. Assume the charge for T&E activities, in the absence of the in charge person.

Qualifications and Experience - Educational Qualifications and Key skills required
MSc Nursing with 7-8 experience in Nursing Quality.
- Technical: Experience with data visualization tools e.g., Microsoft excel/ Power point /handling EMR etc.,
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of quality improvement frameworks like Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA), Lean, or Six Sigma
