Full job description

vConstruct , a Pune-based Construction Technology company, seeks an Electrical Engineer to assist in the design and documentation of building electrical systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions across all phases of project design.

Responsibilities

Support development of electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations throughout all phases of project design under the supervision of Sr/Lead Electrical Engineer/Manager and/or US-Licensed Engineer
Assist in developing electrical system designs and layouts for building power, lighting, and low voltage systems
Perform electrical calculations and analyses using working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards
Collaborate with engineers, designers, BIM modelers, and external stakeholders to produce coordinated 2D and 3D electrical models using CAD/BIM tools
Ensure electrical designs are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project scope, budget, and schedule requirements
Support construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and participating in site visits as directed

Skills

Minimum 2+ years of experience in electrical design for building systems
Working knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
Basic understanding of applicable electrical codes and standards
Familiarity with CAD and BIM tools such as AutoCAD and Revit
Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
