India Eye Hospital in Greater Noida is a social enterprise committed to providing high-quality, affordable, and high-volume eye care. Currently, we operate a modern facility located at 17/2, Knowledge Park 3, Near LG Chowk, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201306. Our current facility is NABH-accredited for eye care, ensuring adherence to recognized standards of safety and quality in healthcare delivery
To further expand access to care, especially in rural communities, India Eye Hospital operates Vision Centers in Surajpur and Rabupura. We plan to add eight more VCs within the next year. These centers provide essential eye care services closer to where people live.
India Eye Hospital is committed to eliminating unnecessary blindness in Uttar Pradesh by establishing a network of modern eye hospitals and research centers across the state. The hospital is guided by Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Darya Ganj, Delhi.
Operating in Greater Noida since 2023, we have already performed 2800 cataract surgeries using Phaco. We plan to conduct 2,800 cataract surgeries in the next year, using Phaco techniques.
Over the next three years, we are setting up a Super Specialty Eye Hospital with 15 Operating Theaters and 12 Clinics in Greater Noida, Knowledge Park 3 on a seven-acre plot. We are being guided by LAICO – Aravind Eye Care System, Dr. Shroff’s Eye Hospital, Darya Ganj, Delhi and leading eye surgeons from USA.
Job Description: As a Ward Nurse at India Eye Institute, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and recovery of our patients who require hospitalization. You will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ward, including assessments, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, recognizing any changes in condition and responding appropriately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
- Infection Control: Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent hospital-acquired infections and ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, other nurses, and support staff, to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Patient Comfort: Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction by addressing their needs promptly and with empathy.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including cardiac arrests, and assist in resuscitation efforts as necessary.
- Family Support: Provide emotional support to patients' families and answer their questions and concerns.
Candidate Profile:
- ANM or ward experience in a Clinic or Hospital.
- Valid nursing license to practice in India.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Experience: 1-3 years
Compensation: Rs 15,000-18,000 per month
