Role Summary
The Senior Project Controls Specialist – Procurement / Contract Management will be responsible for procurement tracking, contract administration, vendor coordination, commercial monitoring, and reporting activities for pharmaceutical capital projects. The role requires close coordination with project managers, procurement teams, vendors, and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Track procurement activities including RFQs, POs, vendor submissions, approvals, manufacturing, and delivery status.
- Maintain procurement dashboards and reporting systems.
- Support contract administration including change orders, amendments, claims, and commercial documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and project teams to ensure timely delivery of project materials and equipment.
- Monitor procurement schedules and identify risks or delays.
- Support invoice verification and commercial tracking.
- Prepare procurement and contract status reports for management and clients.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and vendor review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and project governance requirements.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of procurement and contract management processes.
- Experience in EPC/EPCM or pharmaceutical project environments.
- Knowledge of vendor management and procurement lifecycle.
- Experience with procurement tracking tools and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Strong reporting and data analysis capabilities.
- Understanding of commercial documentation and contract administration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline.
- Certification in procurement or contract management is preferred.
Soft Skills & Communication
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong coordination and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to interact with global clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Flexible to support meetings and coordination in EST time zones.
