How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
We are looking for a Procurement Manager who will be based out of our Goa Plant and office. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing plans derived from the strategic plan to improve procurement process effectiveness and velocity in the supply chain; leading initiatives as projects to improve service including replenishment initiatives and processes; coordinating cross-functional exchange of ideas and development throughout the ANDREW supply chain.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Developing and deploying strategic actions to optimize material Costs, Supply & Quality.
- Executing project tracking mechanisms and using them to lead critical localization projects.
- Leading the local Procurement team effectively and coordinate tactical and strategic management of Commodities / Categories to support business needs.
- Partnering and engaging with Vendors, Operations, Quality and other stakeholders to establish a cost-effective supply network that ensures effective customer service.
- Developing and executing plans to drive structural improvement in cost competitiveness and capability of the supplier network.
- Tracking month on month costs against committed cost reduction programs.
- Directing and monitoring the control processes including measurement of KPI/KRA's and recommended actions over the supply chain in compliance with organization policies and processes.
- Participating and engaging with local & global business partners for executing business priorities (Travel required).
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Business Administration or a related technical field
- 14+ years of experience with at least 6 to 8 years managerial experience in supply chain business processes and project management with exposure to world class processes and systems
- Hands on experience in setting up and managing supply chains with experience in procurement and or localization of Die Casting, Machining, Sheet metal parts, injection molding, and general manufacturing practices.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong PC skills (MS Office, MS Project); ERP skills, SAP would be added advantage.

- Ability to effectively present ideas to an individual or group utilizing appropriate delivery styles and methods of communication to gain agreement or acceptance.
- Strong ability of analyzing and driving decisions based on data.
- Experience of handling a team of 4 to 6 direct reports.
- Legal and contract knowledge.
- Proven experience in management of JIT/VMI programs.
- Project Management background preferred.
- High level of personal initiative and accountability; are a self-starter; are innovative, creative, motivating, and inspiring individual with an ability to lead and direct a talented team.
