Staff Nurse job Responsibilities
Staff Nurse will be required to provide high-quality patient care. Assist with the continuous development of staff. Identify hazards in the workplace and provide solutions and must be able to treat emergency injuries. He/She must be able to develop programs to maintain health and safety. Documenting all injuries and illnesses will be one of the key responsibilities. Other than that admission of patients for Surgical procedures, history collection about diagnosis, past surgical history, medical history, present complaints, send for preoperative diagnostic test as prescribed and Pre -Anaesthetic check ups, based on his/her area of clinical expertise. Nurses always play an important role in their patients' health and well-being by providing a variety of services in exchange for a staff nurse salary.
