Job Description – Building Management System (BMS) TrainerPosition Details

· Job Title: Building Management System (BMS) Trainer

· Department: Training & Skill Development

· Employment Type: Full-Time / Freelance

· Location: As per Organization Requirement

· Experience Required: 2–5 Years (Preferred)

About the Role

· We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Building Management System (BMS) Trainer to deliver technical training programs for students, technicians, engineers, and working professionals in the field of Building Automation and Smart Building Technologies.

Key Responsibilities

· Deliver classroom and practical training sessions on Building Management Systems (BMS).

· Train students on HVAC control systems, chillers, AHU, FCU, VAV, and ventilation systems.

· Explain BMS architecture, communication protocols, and system integration concepts.

· Provide training on BACnet, Modbus, and other industrial communication protocols.

· Develop training materials, presentations, assignments, lab manuals, and assessments.

· Guide students on real-time industrial projects and troubleshooting techniques.

· Conduct practical demonstrations related to building automation and energy management.

· Evaluate trainee performance through tests, practical evaluations, and assignments.

· Support placement activities by preparing students for interviews and technical discussions.

Required Technical Skills

· Building Management System (BMS)

· Building Automation System (BAS)

· HVAC Automation

· Smart Building Technologies

· BACnet, Modbus RTU/TCP

· CCTV, Fire Alarms System, Access control system

· BMS Monitoring Software

Educational Qualification

· Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.

· Relevant certifications in BMS (HVAC CCTV, Fire Alarms and Smart Building)Technologies will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

· Good presentation and communication skills.

· Strong practical knowledge in Building Automation Systems.

· Ability to handle classroom and lab sessions effectively.

· Passion for teaching and mentoring students.

· Industry experience in BMS projects, commissioning, or maintenance is preferred.
