Reporting To: Service Manager / Technical Head

Job Summary

Matrix Labs Diagnocare Private Limited is looking for enthusiastic and technically skilled candidates for the position of Trainee Service Engineer – IVD Devices. The selected candidates will undergo in-house technical training in Chennai and will support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of diagnostic instruments and medical devices.

Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Technical Support

Assist in installation and commissioning of IVD instruments at customer locations
Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment
Support senior engineers during service visits and technical activities
Ensure timely response and closure of service requests

Equipment Handling

Handle diagnostic instruments, analyzers, and related accessories carefully
Assist in calibration and testing of medical devices
Ensure proper handling and movement of equipment and spare parts

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and installation documents
Update service activities in ERP or internal tracking systems
Follow company SOPs and compliance procedures

Coordination

Coordinate with logistics and inventory teams for spare parts and dispatch
Communicate with customers regarding service schedules and support activities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering (BE/B.Tech)

Experience

0–2 years of experience in service engineering or technical support
Freshers with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of medical devices or diagnostic equipment
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and customer-handling skills
Willingness to travel and relocate based on business requirements

Preferred Skills

Exposure to IVD instruments or healthcare equipment
Basic understanding of electronics and diagnostic systems

Training & Deployment

Candidates will undergo 6 months of in-house training in Chennai
After successful completion of training, candidates may be deployed across India based on business requirements
