Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Multi-Skill Technician with hands-on experience in Plumbing, Electrical systems, HVAC maintenance, and STP operations to support the facility management activities of an IT Tower at Infopark Phase 2, Kakkanad. The technician will be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth functioning of all utility systems within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Maintenance

Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults such as lighting, sockets, DB panels, and wiring issues.
Maintain electrical equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.

2. Plumbing Works

Maintenance and repair of water supply systems, pipelines, pumps, valves, and fixtures.
Identify and rectify leakages, blockages, and pressure issues.
Ensure uninterrupted water supply in the building.

3. HVAC Maintenance

Perform routine servicing of Air Conditioning systems (split units / AHU / FCU).
Monitor HVAC performance and carry out minor repairs.
Assist in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

4. STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) Operations

Operate and monitor the STP plant for smooth functioning.
Check pumps, blowers, motors, and treatment process parameters.
Maintain daily log sheets and ensure compliance with environmental norms.

5. General Facility Support

Attend maintenance complaints raised by tenants.
Support preventive maintenance schedules for facility equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and supervisors when major repairs are required.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain proper documentation.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Plumbing / HVAC or related technical field.

Experience

1–5 years experience in facility maintenance.
Experience in commercial buildings, IT parks, malls, or large facilities preferred.

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC systems, and STP operations
Troubleshooting and maintenance skills
Ability to respond to breakdowns and emergency situations
Basic record keeping and reporting

Other Requirements

Willingness to work in shift operations if required
Good teamwork and communication skills
