We are looking for a dynamic, disciplined, and people-oriented HR professional who can independently manage HR operations, workforce coordination, employee engagement, and statutory compliance while supporting smooth plant operations and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Manpower Planning
· Handle end-to-end recruitment for plant, office, sales, technical, and managerial positions.
· Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and hiring requirements.
· Conduct screening, interviews, salary negotiations, reference checks, and onboarding formalities.
· Coordinate with labor contractors and external agencies for timely availability of contract manpower as per plant requirements.
· Plan and monitor daily manpower deployment in the plant based on production schedules and workload requirements.
· Maintain recruitment databases, employee records, and manpower reports.
Employee Onboarding & HR Operations
· Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees and workers.
· Coordinate joining formalities including delivery of joining kits, uniforms, ID cards, and other required documents/materials.
· Maintain healthy employee relations across factory and office staff.
· Address employee grievances and coordinate disciplinary actions whenever required.
· Act as a bridge between management, supervisors, workers, and contractors for smooth communication and issue resolution.
· Implement HR policies, attendance systems, and workplace discipline effectively.
Attendance, Payroll & Workforce Discipline
· Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, overtime, shift schedules, and leave records on a daily basis.
· Ensure implementation of company policies regarding deductions for late arrivals, unauthorized absenteeism, and uninformed leaves.
· Coordinate payroll processing with the accounts department or external consultants.
· Ensure timely distribution of monthly salary slips to workers and staff.
· Maintain employee documentation, attendance records, and payroll-related data.
Statutory Compliance & Contractor Management
· Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
· Maintain proper documentation and compliance records related to contract labor and workforce management.
· Coordinate with consultants and government departments during audits and inspections.
· Maintain updated HR records, statutory registers, and compliance documentation.
Safety, PPE & Uniform Compliance
· Conduct regular shop-floor inspections to ensure all workers and staff follow plant discipline and safety standards.
· Ensure employees are wearing prescribed PPE kits including safety shoes, helmets, gloves, masks, and other safety equipment.
· Ensure all employees and workers are in proper company uniform during working hours.
· Coordinate with plant and safety departments to improve workplace safety awareness and compliance.
Performance Management & Employee Development
· Assist management in employee performance appraisal and evaluation processes.
· Prepare and maintain records for quarterly employee performance reviews.
· Coordinate with department heads for timely completion of employee reviews and appraisal discussions.
· Ensure proper documentation and follow-up of performance feedback and improvement plans.
· Identify training needs and coordinate employee development initiatives.
· Support employee retention and productivity improvement programs.
Administration & General HR Support
· Coordinate general administration activities whenever required.
· Support management in implementing company policies, operational improvements, and workforce discipline.
· Maintain smooth HR operations to support efficient plant functioning.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, MBA (HR), or related field.
· 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial sector.
· Good knowledge of labor laws, factory HR practices, and statutory compliance.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to handle workforce issues with maturity, discipline, and professionalism.
· Experience in payroll management and contractor handling preferred.
· Proficiency in MS Office and HR documentation systems.
Preferred Qualities
· Stable career background.
· Hands-on and practical approach towards plant HR operations.
· Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong ethical values, confidentiality, and discipline-oriented mindset.
· Local candidate from Indore preferred.
Reporting To : Director / Management
Working Days : Monday to Saturday
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
