Full job description

Position: Sr. Executive – Accounts & Purchase
Location: Ahmedabad
Department: Accounts & Finance
Reporting To: Manager – Accounts
Experience Required: 4+Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Executive – Accounts & Purchase to manage accounting operations, taxation compliance, vendor coordination, purchasing activities, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, accounting knowledge, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Finance

Maintain expense invoices with accurate GST and TDS details.
Ensure all payments are supported with proper documentation and approvals.
Manage supplier payment schedules and vendor payments.
Pass journal entries related to GST, salary, settlements, and other accounting transactions.
Handle cash compliance and maintain supporting records/documents.
Prepare and maintain cash flow statements and balance sheets.
Prepare monthly salary processing and payroll-related entries.
Generate weekly and monthly MIS reports and financial summaries.
Prepare monthly GST and TDS reports and coordinate with Chartered Accountant (CA).
Conduct ledger scrutiny and verification of accounting documents.
Support internal audits related to stock verification and vouchers.

Purchase & Vendor Management

Prepare and process purchase orders (POs).
Source, negotiate, and purchase materials from local and overseas vendors.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Monitor and expedite orders to ensure timely procurement.
Verify receipt of items against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
Handle vendor-related issues concerning supply, quality, invoicing, and services.
Maintain inventory coordination and ensure timely forwarding of available stock items.
Organize and maintain purchase and accounting records systematically.
Analyze purchasing trends and provide planning/control reports.

Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with finance and internal departments for smooth operational flow.
Ensure confidentiality and security of financial and company information.
Maintain proper filing systems and database backups.
Follow statutory compliance and accounting standards.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Currently working as an Accounts Executive / Sr. Accounts Executive.
Experience in handling both Accounts and Purchase functions.
Familiarity with ERP/accounting software will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
