- Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales & Marketing Executive to join our growing team at Stanza Shipping. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting our international freight forwarding and logistics services. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, sales ability, and a passion for their job.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, and corporate clients.
- Promote company services including:
- Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL)
- Air Freight
- Customs Clearance
- Warehousing & Transportation
- Door-to-Door Logistics Solutions
- Conduct client meetings and sales visits.
- Coordinate with operations and pricing teams for smooth execution.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain customer database and update CRM/sales reports regularly.
- Monitor market trends and customer requirements.
- Build long-term business relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing.
- Preferred experience in logistics/freight forwarding industry.
- Preferred 1–3 years of experience in sales and marketing in any industry.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and presentable personality may also apply.
- Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics processes will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic email communication.
- Ability to handle field sales and client meetings independently.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in freight forwarding/logistics industry.
- Existing contacts with importers/exporters will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of customer relationship management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Customer Calling & Lead Qualification
- Confident in calling prospects/customers
- Collect and update details such as company name, decision-maker, contact info, requirement type, and usage volume
- Update call outcomes and lead status in Excel/Sheets
- Fluency in English & Hindi preferred
