Release Readiness Manager

Position Summary

Coordinate release readiness and learning operations to ensure product releases are accompanied by clear, accessible training and enablement resources. This role is based in India and is fully remote. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Virtual Training and Enablement, eLearning.

We are looking for a manager to join our eLearning team within Coaching and Training Services to help make our mission a reality.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Manage release readiness planning for learning deliverables, aligning timelines between product releases and training publication.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (product, engineering, support, documentation, and marketing) to capture learning requirements and confirm acceptance criteria.
Administer the LMS: create and maintain courses, manage enrollments, configure learning paths, and troubleshoot platform issues.
Develop and maintain release checklists and runbooks that specify required learning assets, review cycles, and sign-offs for launch readiness.
Oversee the scheduling and deployment of eLearning content, live trainings, and enablement sessions tied to releases.
Monitor learning completion and engagement metrics; compile reports that inform release retrospectives and continuous improvement.
Facilitate quality checks for learning content, ensuring accessibility, version control, and accurate alignment with product behavior.
Lead post-release assessments to capture feedback, measure learning effectiveness, and recommend adjustments to content or delivery.
Use AI-assisted tools to draft or summarize training content, generate content outlines, or speed routine LMS tasks; validate outputs and apply instructional judgement before publishing.
Communicate release training status to stakeholders and escalate risks or blockers to ensure timely resolution.
Meet regularly with project team and Manager to prioritize and execute on project work.
Be a leader and mentor on the extended training team, collaborating with other training managers.
Uses a detailed project plan while simultaneously working on a variety of cross-functional training projects.
Facilitate process documentation to enable and track training development within AHI team.
Provides feedback to direct reports, identifies strengths and development needs.
Coach their team through career pathing discussions; encourage lateral development in addition to readiness for upward mobility.
Determine both individual performance and team goals and ensure alignment with the overall product line goals and objectives.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

Support development of job aids, quick reference guides, and microlearning assets to supplement formal courses.
Help maintain documentation and internal process guides for learning operations and LMS administration.
Participate in pilot programs for new learning technologies, tools, or content formats.
Assist with basic multimedia editing or coordination with designers for course assets.
Provide occasional support for live training sessions or office hours for learners.
Contribute to retrospectives and process improvement initiatives related to release readiness and learning operations.

Expected Education & Experience:

7+ years of professional experience in release coordination, learning operations, instructional design operations, or LMS administration.
Experience with release management or release planning processes, including cross-functional coordination.
Familiarity with eLearning content types and basic authoring tools (for example: Articulate, Captivate, or equivalent) is a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills to manage concurrent release schedules and learning deliverables.
Must be able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that demands creativity, scalability, and flexibility.
Deep knowledge and experience in all aspects of curriculum design, development, and delivery.
Skilled at utilizing learning technology including analytics, course development tools and applications as well as learning platforms and content management systems.
Project management experience with a proven track record of completing challenging projects with aggressive goals and deadlines.
Flexibility to alter direction if business needs dictate.
Ability to work well with others, communicate priorities and expectations, assign tasks and deadlines, hold team members accountable.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders and producing clear status reports.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
