Full job description

Responsibilities

The Web Graphic Designer is responsible for creating user-centered designs, and translating the designed mockups into code that functions across all major web browsers and mobile devices.

This position requires an attention to detail, a keen eye for clean UI implementation, minimalist design, color, and otherwise solid understanding of visual communication and Responsive Web Design.

Required Skills

Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design

Must have sound knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, flash and Dreamweaver or other HTML editors. Up-to-date with industry leading software and technologies.

Develop websites with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap and Media Querythat are cleanly coded, user-friendly and functional across all devices

Basic understanding of JavaScript

A strong understanding of web standards and semantic code

Familiarity with SEO best practices

Excellent communication, time management skills, self-motivated, comfortable taking initiative; handling multiple projects and timelines simultaneously

Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers, Product Development team, Programmers and Developers

Plus

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Web Development is an advantage

Demonstrable Web / Graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

Highly proficient in all Web / Graphic design aspects

Minimum 1 year proven Web / Graphic designing experience
