About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, securing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and enterprise security framework.
The candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, GitHub, Jenkins, Infrastructure Automation, Application Security, Network Security, VPN Management, SSL Implementation, and DevSecOps best practices. Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, intelligent code review tools, and automated code merging strategies will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps & Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Manage AWS environments including EC2, VPC, ELB, Route53, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Auto Scaling, and Security Groups.
- Perform server provisioning, configuration, maintenance, patch management, and performance tuning.
- Manage Linux and Windows servers across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, alerting, logging, and disaster recovery strategies.
CI/CD & Release Management
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
- Automate build, test, deployment, rollback, and release processes.
- Ensure zero-downtime deployment strategies and deployment automation.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Manage software release cycles and deployment governance.
GitHub & Source Code Management
- Administer GitHub repositories, organizations, teams, and access controls.
- Implement Git branching strategies including:
- Git Flow
- Feature Branching
- Trunk-Based Development
- Release Management
- Manage pull requests, code reviews, branch protection policies, and merge approvals.
- Establish repository governance and version control standards.
AI-Assisted Development & Code Management
- Implement AI-powered development workflows and coding assistants.
- Utilize AI tools for code review, code quality assessment, branch conflict resolution, and automated merge recommendations.
- Support development teams in adopting AI-driven software engineering practices.
- Implement automated code quality and security validation processes.
Security & DevSecOps
- Implement and maintain enterprise DevSecOps practices.
- Design and enforce infrastructure security policies and standards.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability remediation.
- Implement and manage:
- SAST (Static Application Security Testing)
- DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing)
- Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
- Container Security Scanning
- Dependency Security Monitoring
- Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
Network & Infrastructure Security
- Configure and manage:
- Security Groups
- Network ACLs
- Firewalls
- VPN Connectivity
- Site-to-Site VPNs
- SSL/TLS Certificates
- Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Implement Zero Trust and least-privilege security models.
- Manage SSL certificate lifecycle, renewal, and deployment.
Monitoring & Reliability Engineering
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions.
- Manage logging, performance analysis, and capacity planning.
- Ensure high availability and business continuity of production systems.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and outages.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
- Support audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing initiatives.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Relevant DevOps, Cloud, or Security certifications are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Insurance, FinTech, SaaS, or Enterprise Platforms.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps frameworks.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted software development tools.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture and API Management.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or similar security standards.
