Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Infrastructure Specialist with 2–5 years of proven experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, wireless technologies, endpoint management, and IT support operations. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, securing, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure across office and datacenter environments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in networking fundamentals and hands-on experience with LAN/WAN infrastructure, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, wireless networks, and enterprise firewall solutions such as Cisco and Sophos. The candidate must be capable of independently troubleshooting complex network and infrastructure issues and providing permanent solutions through proper root cause analysis.

This position requires practical experience in managing Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WDS, JumpCloud, Microsoft Intune, endpoint security solutions, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies. The candidate should have experience managing user identities, access controls, device compliance, patch management, and endpoint administration across both Windows and macOS environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining controller-based wireless infrastructure, monitoring network performance, resolving connectivity issues, and ensuring high availability and security of IT services. Strong hands-on experience in managing enterprise Wi-Fi environments, network segmentation, authentication mechanisms, and wireless troubleshooting is essential.

In addition to infrastructure responsibilities, the role requires providing L1/L2 technical support for laptops, desktops, MacBooks, printers, mobile devices, and business applications. Experience in handling IT asset lifecycle management, inventory tracking, hardware deployment, and end-user support is mandatory.

The candidate should also have hands-on experience managing CCTV systems, biometric devices, access control systems, door access solutions, and other physical security technologies. Exposure to datacenter operations, server room management, structured cabling, rack infrastructure, and infrastructure monitoring will be considered a strong advantage.

Candidates with experience in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python, along with knowledge of security best practices, MFA, RBAC, compliance standards, and modern IT operations, will be preferred.

Role

Manage and maintain the organization’s overall IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and operational efficiency across all office locations and datacenter environments.
Configure, administer, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, VLANs, routing, switching, network segmentation, and enterprise connectivity solutions.
Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, network routing, traffic optimization, and network performance monitoring.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco and Sophos firewalls, including security policies, IPS/IDS, web filtering, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention mechanisms.
Design, implement, and support IPSec VPN, Site-to-Site VPN, SSL VPN, and remote access connectivity solutions.
Manage enterprise wireless infrastructure including controller-based wireless networks, wireless access points, RF optimization, wireless authentication, roaming, coverage planning, and wireless troubleshooting.
Perform wireless site surveys, RF analysis, interference troubleshooting, and wireless performance optimization.
Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux Server environments, including system configuration, patching, monitoring, backup, and troubleshooting.
Manage Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), DNS, DHCP, WDS, and identity management services.
Administer JumpCloud, Microsoft Intune, and endpoint management platforms for user authentication, device management, compliance, and security enforcement.
Manage Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (O365) environments, including user provisioning, security policies, email administration, collaboration tools, and troubleshooting.
Handle email administration, email security, mail flow troubleshooting, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and related messaging services.
Manage VMware virtualization infrastructure, virtual machines, resource allocation, performance monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery operations.
Monitor and maintain datacenter/server room infrastructure including racks, structured cabling, patch panels, power management, environmental monitoring, and hardware lifecycle management.
Manage endpoint security solutions, antivirus, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), device encryption, MFA, RBAC, and security compliance requirements.
Provide L1/L2/L3 technical support for Windows laptops, MacBooks, desktops, servers, printers, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, software, networking, VPN, wireless, and application-related issues.
Manage and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, NVR/DVR platforms, camera configurations, video retention policies, and surveillance monitoring solutions.
Administer biometric attendance systems, door access control systems, access cards, authentication devices, and physical security infrastructure.
Configure, monitor, and support IoT devices, network-connected equipment, printers, scanners, and smart office technologies.
Manage IT asset lifecycle processes including procurement support, deployment, inventory tracking, maintenance, audits, warranty tracking, and decommissioning.
Support video conferencing platforms, meeting room technologies, conference room infrastructure, audio/video equipment, and collaboration solutions.
Perform infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, health checks, preventive maintenance, and performance optimization activities.
Conduct root cause analysis for infrastructure and operational issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
Create and maintain network diagrams, infrastructure documentation, SOPs, asset records, and technical knowledge base articles.
Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, OEMs, and third-party service providers for implementation, troubleshooting, escalations, and infrastructure upgrades.
Develop and utilize PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts for automation, monitoring, reporting, and administrative tasks.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, IT governance standards, and infrastructure best practices.
Participate in infrastructure projects, office expansions, technology upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
