Senior Social Media Graphic Designer (AI-First)
Location: Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and AI-savvy Senior Social Media Graphic Designer / Social Media Manager to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong design skills with modern AI-powered workflows. You will be responsible for designing visually compelling social media content, building aesthetically pleasing Instagram feeds, creating brand assets, and managing social media content from a design-first perspective.

We are particularly interested in candidates who actively use AI tools to improve creativity, productivity, and content quality.

Key Responsibilities

Design Instagram feeds, carousel posts, story creatives, and reel thumbnails.
Create visually engaging graphics that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Develop branding assets, icons, visual systems, and content templates.
Collaborate with creative directors, content strategists, and video editors to execute campaigns.
Plan and maintain cohesive Instagram grids and social media aesthetics across multiple brands.
Organize design files, assets, references, and content libraries.
Stay updated with the latest social media, design, and AI trends.
Ensure all content is optimized for platform-specific requirements including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook.
Assist with content publishing, feed planning, and social media management tasks.

AI Skills (Mandatory)

AI proficiency is a major requirement for this role.

Candidates should have hands-on experience using AI tools for content creation, ideation, design enhancement, and workflow automation.

You should be able to:

Generate high-quality AI visuals and concepts.
Create AI-assisted social media creatives.
Use AI for mood boards, content ideation, copy assistance, and campaign development.
Combine AI-generated assets with professional design workflows.
Improve speed and quality through AI-powered processes without compromising creativity.

Candidates who demonstrate a strong understanding of AI-assisted design workflows will be given significant preference.

Requirements

Strong portfolio showcasing social media design work.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Excellent understanding of Instagram aesthetics, feed planning, and content design.
Strong typography, layout, branding, and visual communication skills.
Familiarity with motion graphics and basic video editing workflows.
Ability to receive feedback and iterate quickly.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple brands and content calendars simultaneously.

Bonus Skills

Experience with animation and motion graphics.
Experience with color correction and visual storytelling.
Knowledge of Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling tools.
Experience working with lifestyle, architecture, furniture, luxury, hospitality, or design-focused brands.

Preferred Qualifications

2–4 years of professional experience in social media design or content management (flexible for exceptional candidates).
Degree in Graphic Design, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong understanding of current social media trends, content formats, and audience behavior.
