We are inviting applications for the full-time Assistant Professor in Visual Communication position.
Faculty responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching, conducting research, advising students, participating in conferences, and academic administration:

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for designing and conducting research projects in the area of visual Communication, with a specific focus on digital design, visual ergonomics, and User Interfaces. This involves the responsibility of publishing scholarly articles in leading journals and conferences.

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels that will involve preparing course materials, delivering lectures, and facilitating discussions that focus on their applications of visuals in digital systems, assessing student performance in projects, and providing feedback and mentoring to students on their use. Additionally, the Assistant Professor will mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students, which will involve guiding research projects, career development opportunities in this field, and professional networking with experts in these areas.

The Assistant Professor will be expected to participate in various academic and administrative activities of the department, such as attending meetings, serving on committees, and contributing to the development of the curriculum and research agenda of the department.

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for engaging with industry and other external partners to promote research and innovation in Visual Communication.
Qualifications:

A Ph.D. (awarded or nearing submission) in Visual Communication or a related field

Demonstrated expertise and research experience in Visual Communication
