DESCRIPTION

Fulfillment Centers (FCs) are the physical engine at the heart of Amazon, that move billions of units of inventory, employ tens of thousands of people, and ensure that customers get what they want when promised. Amazon India FC Operations team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented Business Intelligence Support Engineer who thrives in a fast paced, data-driven environment. The selected candidate will have a passion for building and maintaining scalable solutions to enable the growth our FC Operations.

Key job responsibilities
The position will work closely with Central ACES teams to develop platform and tools and analyze data to support PD initiatives, dig deep into data to determine root cause of defects, build and maintain decision support process to track defects and correct them in real time.

Proposed Responsibilities of BIE Support will be:

Monitoring health of DWP jobs, infrastructure and platform – maintaining 100% availability and scaling
Performing root cause analysis and resolving Trouble Tickets.
Enhancements to the existing solutions independently (with minimal guidance from BIE team)
Gradual ownership of medium complexity solutions from the roadmap initiatives
Providing data insights to central ACES team to drive business critical actions.

We have a 5-day work week but given the 7 days a week operation, the 2 scheduled days off will vary based on shift patterns and business needs.
As a frontline leader, to understand the ground reality, you will be expected to work with and help associates, which may occasionally include safely lifting heavier items and shipments with required support.
Work requires the leader to go where value is being created in the operations which involve walking and standing.
Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head, with tools provided to support these requirements.

Key job responsibilities
Fulfillment of data requirements of the central ACES team, Using Analytical tools to drive solutions to business problems.
Data model creation for critical roadmap projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience
high school diploma or equivalent
High school or equivalent
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent
