Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis I – Asian Cuisine to support kitchen operations in preparing high-quality Asian dishes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Asian cooking techniques, food preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards in a professional kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Asian cuisine dishes according to recipes and standards
- Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure proper food preparation, portioning, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Monitor food stock and inform supervisors about shortages
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in storing and handling ingredients properly
- Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly
- Support smooth kitchen workflow during busy service hours
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Asian cuisine preparation
- Knowledge of Asian cooking methods, ingredients, and sauces
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Chinese, Thai, Japanese, or Pan-Asian cuisine
- Knife skills and food presentation techniques
- Time management and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
