About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly responsible HIS/HMS Implementation & Database Specialist to lead the deployment, configuration, and implementation of Akhil HIS at the hospital premises.

The candidate will be fully responsible for the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including Department Master creation, nested table configuration, hospital workflow mapping, data setup, module coordination, user support, and go-live execution.

This is a mission-critical ownership role requiring both technical expertise and practical understanding of hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities

HIS Configuration & Master Setup

Create and manage Department Master tables
Design and maintain associated nested/configuration tables
Configure doctor, consultant, service, ward, OT, diagnostics, pharmacy, and billing masters
Configure role-based user hierarchy and access controls
Handle system parameter configuration and workflow mapping

Database & Technical Responsibilities

Work extensively with SQL databases
Manage data relationships, mappings, and master-detail structures
Perform data import/export and validation
Ensure data consistency and integrity
Troubleshoot database-level issues related to HIS workflows
Coordinate integration-related requirements for Akhil HIS

Hospital Workflow Implementation

Understand and configure:

o OPD

o IPD

o Billing

o Pharmacy

o Laboratory

o Radiology

o OT

o MRD

o Diagnostic workflows

Conduct workflow analysis with hospital departments
Map operational processes into the HIS platform

________________________________________

Deployment & Support

Lead end-to-end implementation at hospital premises
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, administrators, and management
Conduct user training and handholding
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Manage go-live activities and post-implementation stabilization
Resolve implementation and operational issues independently

________________________________________

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory Skills

Strong SQL knowledge
Experience with:

o MySQL

o PostgreSQL

o MS SQL Server

o MariaDB (any one or more)

Hands-on experience in HIS/HMS implementation
Understanding of master tables and relational database structures
Knowledge of hospital operational workflows
Basic understanding of API/integration concepts

Preferred Skills

Exposure to Akhil HIS or similar HIS platforms
HL7 integration basics
NABH workflow understanding
Reporting and MIS generation experience
Experience in healthcare IT deployment environments

________________________________________

Required Experience

Minimum

3+ years in HIS/HMS implementation or healthcare IT systems

Preferred

5+ years handling live hospital deployments
Experience managing complete implementation independently

Educational Qualification

Preferred:

B.Tech / BCA / MCA / Diploma in Computer Science / IT

Equivalent practical experience in healthcare IT implementations will also be considered.

Problem-solving mindset
Ability to handle implementation pressure and urgent operational issues

Salary Range

Minimum Offered Range

₹30,000/month onwards

Recommended Range

₹30,000 – ₹40,000/month

Salary will depend on:

HIS/HMS experience
Database expertise
Hospital implementation exposure
Ability to independently manage deployment

Work Environment

On-site hospital deployment environment
May require extended support during implementation/go-live phases
Direct coordination with hospital administration and IT teams

Candidates with prior experience in:

Hospital ERP/HIS implementation
Healthcare software deployment
Hospital IT operations
Clinical workflow digitization

will be highly preferred.
