The Manager CNC Operations is responsible for leading the CNC manufacturing shop and manufacturing engineering functions. This high-impact role oversees production management, process development, and New Product Introduction (NPI). The focus is on driving world-class productivity, quality, and cost efficiency in a high-precision machining environment characterized by very low tolerance requirements.

Lead the CNC machining department to consistently achieve production, quality, cost, and on-time delivery targets.

Drive process planning, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), PFMEA, and control plans to ensure robust manufacturing cycles.

Oversee the machining of products with very low tolerances, ensuring process capability (CP/CPK) is maintained for critical dimensions.

Manage trials, APQP/PPAP activities, and ensure a smooth handover from the design phase to full-scale production.

Design and develop advanced fixtures, tooling, shop-floor layouts, and Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing) systems to enhance safety and productivity.

Spearhead Lean initiatives, including SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die), 7QC tools, Kaizen, TPM, and significant cycle time reduction projects.

Monitor daily productivity, rejection rates, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Design, Purchase, and Planning teams to minimize bottlenecks and optimize material flow.

Mentor and develop both shop-floor operators and the engineering team to build a high-performance technical culture.

Contribute to capacity planning, facility layout improvements, and long-term cost-reduction initiatives.

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

15+ years of experience in CNC operations and manufacturing engineering, with at least 5-8 years in a senior leadership role.

Extensive experience in Automotive, Precision Manufacturing, Forging, or Heavy Engineering industries.
