The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. Purpose of the role
The primary role includes maintaining the master data for Material Requirements Planning and to maintain the dimensions for types of raw materials.
Key Accountabilities
Operational Excellence (95% of Time)

Validate Material requirements planning parameters and Dimensions in collaboration with Plant Planners and Suppliers
-
Work independently / directly with U.S. supply chain partners to ensure accurate and timely validation.

Work with global suppliers to gather information and validate master data for material requirements planning and transport related parameters such as material dimensions, weight, stacking height etc.

Work with GMI/ESC plants to share the parameters recommendations and updating the relevant material status(es) in the system.

Process various MRP parameters/material dimensions validation requests received.

Update the pick number in shipment deliveries SAP against as per the request received in mailbox from suppliers.

Update the MRP/dimensions tool database with the latest price sheet information received from vendor at a set frequency.

Work with global suppliers to revalidate the material requirements planning parameters in case of rejections by plants.

Support the team in case of identifying the issue and conduct root cause analysis.

Work with internal teams for the specific requests.

Minimum Qualifications

Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory)
