Position Summary
Level: Consultant
This role focuses on configuring and developing ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management solutions that help clients improve visibility, strengthen controls, and drive more effective risk management. You will work with project teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned to client requirements and platform best practices.
Work you'll do
As a Security Engineer II on the Cyber Strategy & Transformation team, you will be responsible for:
- Configure and develop ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management solutions across modules such as Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, and Privacy Management.
- Translate user stories and business requirements into platform configurations, scripts, workflows, and automation aligned to approved solution designs and acceptance criteria.
- Build, test, and migrate scoped applications and platform customizations across development, test, user acceptance testing, and production environments using established deployment procedures.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and technical documentation activities to support stable, secure, and maintainable solution delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and ongoing platform improvement efforts by applying ServiceNow development standards and staying current on platform releases and module capabilities.
The team
Cyber Strategy & Transformation teams develop and transform cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. They keep the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and give stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Services include the design of cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. Services also encompass Cybersecurity Assessments and Frameworks, Cyber Transformation Management, Technology Software and Asset Compliance Management, Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Risk and Compliance, Solution Design and Implementation, and Cyber Risk Analytics and Quantification Reporting.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of ServiceNow experience developing and configuring Integrated Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, or Business Continuity Management applications.
- Experience configuring ServiceNow components including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, Flow Designer, Playbooks, and Update Sets.
- Experience with ServiceNow workflow design, application scripting, application programming interfaces, and web services.
- Experience supporting ServiceNow deployments, testing, defect resolution, and environment migration activities.
- Certified System Administrator certification.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a specified technical field.
Preferred:
- Certified Application Developer certification.
- Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance certification.
- Certified Implementation Specialist – Third-Party Risk Management certification.
- Experience with Workspace and UI Builder on the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance platforms such as Archer IRM or MetricStream.
- Experience with Performance Analytics or Application Portfolio Management.
