Role: SEO Executive
Experience: 2-4 Years
Roles & Responsibilities

SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Understanding both on-page and off-page SEO.

PPC (Pay-Per-Click) & SEM (Search Engine Marketing): Knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and paid social strategies.

Content Marketing: Familiarity with content creation, content strategy, and managing content calendars.

Social Media Marketing: Experience with organic and paid strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.

Google Analytics: In-depth knowledge of GA to analyze traffic sources, user behavior, and conversion rates.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Ability to identify and optimize areas of the website and campaigns for higher conversions.

Internal Communication: Clear communication with the team, clients, and other departments (design, sales, etc.).

Client Communication: If working in an agency or client-facing role, maintaining a good rapport with clients, understanding their goals, and managing expectations.

Reporting to Stakeholders: Ability to present campaign performance reports in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.

Marketing Tools: Familiarity with tools like Search Console, SEM, Analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and others.

SMO
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Platform Knowledge
Hands-on experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X).
Basic understanding of YouTube & Pinterest/TikTok (depending on brand needs).
Knowledge of business manager tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Page Admin, etc.).
2. Content Creation & Management
Ability to create and schedule posts using Canva / Photoshop / basic video editing tools.
Writing short, engaging copy (captions, hashtags, CTAs).
Knowledge of brand tone and consistency.
3. Engagement & Community Handling
Responding to comments/messages professionally.
Monitoring brand mentions and engaging with the audience.
Escalating queries/leads to the right team.
4. Advertising Basics (Optional, but Good to Have)
Awareness of boosted posts and basics of running paid ads.
Understanding the difference between organic vs. paid campaigns.
5. Analytics & Reporting
Ability to track performance (reach, engagement, follower growth).
Preparing weekly/monthly reports with key metrics.
Using tools like Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics (basic level).
6. Soft Skills
Creativity & trend awareness (staying updated with trending reels, memes, hashtags).
Attention to detail (no typos, brand colors/fonts maintained).
Time management (posting consistently as per calendar).
Team collaboration (working with designers, SEO, content writers)
