Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished QA Lead to oversee the strategic migration of legacy Tosca automation scripts to modern Playwright C# framework and drive the overall quality engineering vision. This senior role requires extensive expertise in test automation architecture, API testing, CI/CD optimization, and mobile testing strategies. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor a team of QA engineers, manage US client relationships, and establish best practices across the testing organization. This role requires strong communication skills to work effectively across US time zones and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic migration from Tosca to Playwright C# framework, defining architecture, approach, and best practices
- Manage and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development
- Design and oversee comprehensive test automation strategy covering API, functional, performance, and mobile testing
- Build and optimize enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Lead mobile automation testing initiatives across device clouds and emulators, defining testing strategies
- Manage relationships with US-based clients, providing strategic consultation, escalation resolution, and regular executive reporting
- Define and implement QA metrics, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to track testing effectiveness and ROI
- Establish quality standards, testing frameworks, and automation best practices across all projects
- Collaborate with delivery and development leadership to align testing strategies with business objectives
- Conduct technical interviews and recruitment for QA team members
- Stay current with emerging testing technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- 12-15 years of comprehensive QA automation experience with proven team leadership
- Minimum 5+ years in a QA leadership or senior technical role
- Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing large-scale test automation frameworks
- Expert-level proficiency in API testing design and implementation
- Deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, Azure DevOps, and test orchestration at scale
- Strong background in mobile automation strategy and device cloud management
- Advanced proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles
- Proven experience managing and mentoring technical teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
- Extensive experience with US-based enterprise clients in complex engagements
- Ability to manage executive-level discussions and present to C-suite stakeholders
- Availability to work during US business hours overlap for meetings and leadership interactions (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading Tosca to Playwright migration projects
- Background with Guidewire or DuckCreek platform testing and strategy
- Expertise in performance testing and test data management strategies
- Certification in QA/QE leadership or quality management (ISTQB, ASQ)
- Experience with AI/ML in testing and intelligent test automation

Work Arrangement

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,100,000.00 per year
