Senior Accountant

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support the finance function across our UK property and hospitality operations. The role will focus on accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, payment tracking, VAT and payroll coordination, and maintaining clear financial records across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented, confident with accounting systems, and able to provide management with timely and accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting entries, bookkeeping, invoices, receipts, payments, and expense records.
Perform bank, supplier, customer, and account reconciliations on a regular basis.
Prepare monthly financial reports, summaries, cash flow updates, and expense analysis for management review.
Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor balances, and outstanding payments.
Support VAT, payroll, statutory documentation, and coordination with external accountants or consultants.
Maintain accurate records for hotel, property, and operating company accounts across multiple entities.
Organise financial documents, invoices, approvals, and supporting records for reporting and audit purposes.
Assist management with budgeting, cost tracking, financial visibility, and finance-related operational support.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance, or similar qualification will be an advantage.
5-10 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Experience handling multiple entities or business accounts is preferred.
Exposure to property, hospitality, or operational accounting will be an advantage.

Key Skills

Strong accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliation knowledge.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
Ability to prepare clear reports and maintain accurate financial records.
Good understanding of financial controls, documentation, and confidentiality.
Strong attention to detail, ownership, communication, and follow-up skills.

Work Details

Work Mode: Office-based role; currently working from home until further notice.
Working Days: Monday to Saturday.
Shift Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM GMT.
Flexibility may be required during month-end closing, reporting, or urgent finance activities.

Salary Range

₹3 LPA - ₹6 LPA, depending on experience, accounting capability, and relevant industry exposure.
