Full job description

Software Developer – .NET

Location: Hyderabad, IN

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in .NET technologies to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have 4–6 years of hands-on experience in developing scalable backend applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions using the Microsoft technology stack.

This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using C# and .NET technologies
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core
Work with SQL Server for database design, optimization, and query performance improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards and best practices
Work with Azure cloud services and support deployment and maintenance activities
Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and application issues
Contribute to technical documentation and process improvements
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–6 years of professional experience in software development using C# and .NET
Strong experience with ASP.NET Core and RESTful API development
Good understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and writing optimized queries/stored procedures
Experience working with Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, or Key Vault is preferred
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies
Experience with unit testing and debugging applications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience integrating third-party services using REST APIs, WebSockets, or gRPC is an added advantage
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to cloud-native application development
Understanding of microservices architecture
Experience working in product-based or fast-paced startup environments is a plus
