Location: Hyderabad Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
We're looking for a hands-on AI Engineer who thrives on turning experimental AI workflows into reliable, production-grade services. In this role, you'll own the end-to-end implementation of containerized Python services, document classification and extraction pipelines, and LLM-powered applications — all built to meet defined reliability, latency, and cost constraints.
You're someone who cares deeply about data quality, observability, and operability, and you bring the engineering discipline needed to make AI solutions safe, scalable, and trustworthy in production. If you're energized by closing the gap between AI experimentation and real-world impact, we'd love to have you on the team.
-
Automate manual workflows — classification, extraction, and routing — into reliable, production-grade services with clearly defined SLAs and SLOs.
-
Implement document classification and extraction pipelines (rules + ML/LLM-assisted) with human-in-the-loop patterns where needed, and maintain dataset hygiene including label validation, deduplication, schema enforcement, and drift checks.
-
Build containerized Python services (FastAPI/gRPC) with clean contracts: versioned endpoints, idempotency, retries, timeouts, and well-defined error taxonomies.
-
Define, test, and deploy Guardrails for LLM applications — input/output validation, PII detection and redaction, and topic enforcement — to ensure safety, compliance, and robust PII handling across data ingestion, processing, and model interaction layers.
-
Lead AI security initiatives: conduct Red Teaming exercises (prompt injection, jailbreaking, data exfiltration), integrate security telemetry with SIEM platforms, and harden pipelines against adversarial attacks.
-
Create evaluation harnesses including golden sets, negative tests, and regression gates, and instrument services with tracing, logging, and metrics using OpenTelemetry to ensure solutions remain safe, scalable, and reliable in production.
-
Python
-
Docker
-
Kubernetes
-
FastAPI
-

-
Vector DB / Search Engine
-
OIDC / JWT
-
Guardrails Frameworks (e.g., NeMo Guardrails, Guardrails AI, Llama Guard)
-
SIEM Platforms (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, Sentinel)
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 2+ years of software engineering experience with Python and hands-on Docker usage.
-
Working knowledge of at least one retrieval stack (vector DB or search engine) and foundational exposure to Kubernetes.
-
Experience with data validation pipelines and familiarity with basic anomaly detection signals relevant to AI/ML workloads.
-
Proven ability to ship reliable AI-backed features with measurable quality gates, while reducing manual work through automation and maintaining rollback operability.
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
-
Comfort with modern API engineering and enterprise integration patterns, including authn/authz hooks (OIDC/JWT) and event-driven integration.
-
Experience producing well-documented interfaces — clear docs, examples, and integration tests — that enable consuming teams to move quickly and confidently.
-
Demonstrated experience operationalizing AI Guardrails, PII anonymization pipelines, and integrating AI security findings into centralized logging and SIEM systems.
-
Hands-on experience implementing human-in-the-loop patterns and evaluation harnesses for AI/ML pipelines.
-
Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate high-level goals into new ideas and well-designed solutions.
