About Position:
The Netskope Security L2 Engineer is responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing the Netskope Security Cloud platform, including SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP and related cloud security components. The engineer will handle day to day operations, troubleshooting, policy configuration, integrations, incident support and advanced L2 escalations while ensuring secure and seamless user experience across the enterprise.Job Functions, Essential Duties and

What You'll Do:
- 1. Platform Operations Administration
- Manage and maintain Netskope SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP, Cloud Firewall related modules.
- Perform daily health checks, monitoring, performance tuning and log analysis.
- Assist with deployment, configuration updates and feature enablement.2. Troubleshooting Incident Management
- Handle L2 escalations related to user access, traffic steering, policy enforcement, and performance issues.
- Conduct packet captures, SSL decryption analysis, and OSI-layer troubleshooting (L1-L7).
- Collaborate with OEM TAC for escalations, RMA, or bugs.3. Policy Configuration Optimization
- Create, modify and tune Netskope real-time protection policies.
- Configure ZTNA connectors, app profiles, steering configurations and exception logic.
- Maintain DLP policies aligned with business data protection
Expertise You'll Bring:
- .4. Integrations Ecosystem Support
- Integrate Netskope with: Active Directory / Identity Providers (Okta, Entra ID)
- SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk)
- ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
- VPN, SSO, CASB and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Support API-driven automations and data exports.5. Documentation Reporting
- Maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, network diagrams and runbooks.
- Perform RCA documentation for major incidents.
- Participate in audits and compliance reporting.6. Collaboration Knowledge Sharing
- Work closely with security engineering, IT infrastructure and application teams.
- Mentor L1 engineers and support cross-team troubleshooting.
- Provide user awareness and operational best practices.
- Experience, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:Minimum of 5 to 8 Years experience
- Hands-on Netskope experience: SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP, Client Steering Strong understanding of: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLSIdentity Access Management
- Cloud security frameworks (SASE/SSE/Zero Trust)
- Experience with: Windows / Linux systems
- SIEM tools (Splunk), ITSM (ServiceNow)
- Proxy technologies, VPNs, certificate chains
- Scripting (Python/Shell) for automation
- s:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Preferred certifications:Netskope Administrator / Integrator / Professional
- CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security, or equivalent
- Preferred Attributes:Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in 24x7 or rotational environments
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Attention to detail and documentation discipline
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
