Full job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Team Lead to drive the development of embedded systems, IoT prototypes, and hardware-driven learning products. This role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, leadership, and product mindset to guide a small engineering team in building reliable, scalable solutions.

You will work on projects involving microcontrollers, sensors, IoT connectivity, and edge AI, contributing to innovative products for students, engineers, and developers.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Delivery

Design and develop embedded applications using ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and similar controllers
Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules into functional systems
Build rapid prototypes and convert them into production-ready solutions

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Lead and mentor a team of 2–5 engineers or interns
Provide guidance to resolve technical challenges and improve productivity
Foster a collaborative and innovation-driven engineering culture

Rapid Prototyping & Innovation

Develop proof-of-concept prototypes quickly
Experiment with IoT connectivity, cloud integration, and TinyML
Evaluate and integrate new hardware platforms, sensors, and technologies

Product & Curriculum Support

Contribute to development of training kits, experiments, and learning modules
Collaborate on creating technical documentation and hands-on learning content
Support integration between hardware and software platforms

Engineering Best Practices

Maintain clean, scalable codebases and documentation
Use Git for version control and collaboration
Ensure testing, reliability, and performance of hardware and firmware systems

Required Skills

Technical Expertise

Strong experience in Embedded Systems and IoT development
Hands-on expertise in hardware and firmware debugging
Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols
Proficiency in Git and version control processes

Leadership & Execution

Experience in team management, task planning, and deadline tracking
Ability to guide and mentor engineers
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivery and quality

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MQTT, HTTP, or cloud-based IoT platforms
Knowledge of TinyML / Edge AI
Basic understanding of hardware design and PCB concepts
Prior experience mentoring or leading engineering teams

Passionate about building hardware and experimenting with new technologies
Able to quickly convert ideas into working prototypes
Strong inclination towards mentoring and knowledge sharing
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
