Logistics Intern – Job Role & Responsibilities

Position: Logistics Intern
Department: Logistics & Supply Chain
Reporting To: Logistics Manager / Business Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating domestic and international shipments.
Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin and Shipping bill.
Track shipments and provide regular status updates to internal teams and customers.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transporters.
Maintain records of shipments, logistics costs, and delivery schedules.
Assist in obtaining freight quotations and comparing logistics service providers.
Support export documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Follow up on customs clearance, delivery schedules, and proof of delivery (POD).
Update ERP/Excel trackers with shipment details and logistics data.
Help resolve shipment delays and logistics-related issues.
Coordinate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams for timely dispatches.
Assist in preparing logistics reports, MIS, and performance dashboards.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹11,000.00 per month
